The Haddonfield BOE presented their plan for using the Bancroft parcel for field and school expansion The Commissioners’ Meeting on September 27th focused on the financial analysis for a public acquisition of Bancroft. The analysis documentation can be found on the Borough Website
Tonight the Planning Board heard from representatives of Bancroft including their COO to their wants ($15,000,000 market value) their need to find a new home and debated the assumptions of the latest redevelopment zone plans .
This Groundhog day saw the lifting of a shadow that has hung over the borough as we were introduced to a new firm to create a redevelopment plan for the Bancroft parcel. The Civic Association hopes to keep you informed every step of the way so you can come to an informed decision on this topic. Also take a look at the presentation they used last night. This special meeting was held to select a new redevelopment firm to replace Hayer Gruel and devise a plan for the Bancroft parcel. Sorry for the 30 second audio cutout. An audience member accidentally pulled out our mic. The response to the question about Bancroft possibly bringing suit if they don’t like the redevelopment plan, the answer was that they could at any time.
