Here is a recording of a joint Planning Board, Zoning Board and Haddonfield Preservation Commission meeting as these groups are briefed on a redevelopment plan for Bancroft presented by Heyer, Gruel & Associates.

SEPTEMBER 7: Planning Board Meeting – Review of Redevelopment Plan and presentation of Alternate Open Space plan from citizens’ groupPart 1 starts with normal meeting information including the granting of permission on historic renovation as well as lighting at Boxwood Hall. Part 1 finishes with the start of the discussion on Bancroft including an overview by Commissioner Ed Borden. Part 2 contains an alternative use plan by the chair of the Environmental Commission and open debate among the board members.

SEPTEMBER 23: Planning Board Meeting and Special Technical Worksession with Zoning Board, Historic Preservation Commission. The planning board held a special meeting to discuss and dissect, page by page, the Bancroft Redevelopment Plan of August 30th. So, get the report, print it out and follow along the discussion. The video is being broken into sections so you can view just the Plan pages you may find confusing.

OCTOBER 12: The Commissioners’ meeting with public comments regarding the Redevelopment Plan. Attended by 60+ residents interested in sharing their opinions with the Planning Board, the meeting was moved to the larger upstairs auditorium. The four hour long meeting adjorned at 11:30 p.m.

OCTOBER 25: Special Commissioners’ meeting (early evening) to withdraw Bancroft Development Plan

In this meeting the Haddonfield Commissioners withdrew the Redevelopment plan for Bancroft’s parcel .

OCTOBER 25: Special Planning Board meeting with public comment on the withdrawal of Bancroft Redevelopment Plan earlier in the evening by the Commissioners.

DECEMBER 20: This special meeting was held to select a new redevelopment firm to replace Hayer Gruel and devise a plan for the Bancroft parcel. Sorry for the 30 second audio cutout. An audience member accidentally pulled out our mic. The response to the question about Bancroft possibly bringing suit if they don’t like the redevelopment plan, the answer was that they could at any time.
